About Jhalra Heritage Haveli

Set within the haveli's original carved walls

The essence of Jhalra

"We built nothing new here. We simply kept a piece of Jodhpur's history open for guests to stay inside."

Tucked into Makrana Mohalla, steps from Ghantaghar Market, The Jhalra Heritage Haveli sits inside the living rhythm of Jodhpur's old city — narrow lanes, temple bells, and stone that has held its colour for centuries.

This is a haveli in the true sense: rooms wrapped around a quiet courtyard, walls carved by hands that learned the craft from their fathers, and a rooftop that watches the Blue City change colour at dusk.

What guides us

Our Promise

01

Heritage, Preserved

Nothing about the original structure is altered for the sake of convenience — the carving, the proportions and the materials stay as they were built.

02

Warm, Direct Hospitality

No call centre, no third-party desk — enquiries go straight to the haveli team, and replies come the same way.

03

A Quiet Old-City Pace

We keep the haveli unhurried on purpose, so a stay here feels like a pause inside the old city rather than a stop along the way.

How we got here

The Haveli, in Brief

A Haveli Takes Shape

Built by local hands in the old city tradition, with the carved jharokhas and courtyard layout typical of Jodhpur's residential havelis.

Restored, Not Replaced

Rather than modernise the structure away, the stonework and proportions were kept intact and simply made liveable again.

Opened to Guests

The haveli now welcomes travellers into its rooms and onto its rooftop, with the same walls and courtyard it always had.
